Meet Rachel.

Hello! We wanted to share with you a little bit more about the co-founders of The Botanic Business Hub. Brought together by a shared passion of flowers, social media, teaching and cake, Emma and Rachel decided to launch The Botanic Business Hub as a community designed to inspire established florists.

Today we’re going to find out a little bit more about Rachel. What this lady doesn’t know about flowers is not worth knowing! She is always passionate about the latest trends and loves a good instagram reel.

Over to Rachel …

Hi there! I’m Rachel. I’m a florist, army wife, mother, steam engine owner and baker.

My floral journey started as a Saturday girl at my local shop when i was 16 years old (my mum said i wouldn’t stick at it!). failed miserably at normal college but thrived whist training to be a florist. I’ve worked in a wide variety of different shops from Independent to Interflora to a top London Belgravia floral shop.

My biggest accomplishment to date professionally would have to be being awarded a Silver Gilt at Chelsea flower show. And personally, i’d have to say that learning sign writing this year has been pretty cool too!
